Jim is a collector of twentieth century finely printed, private press, illustrated, and art books. Many illustrated books contain original graphics. Through fifty years, he has amassed a collection of several thousand titles ranging from the Kelmscott and Doves Presses to works of Barry Moser and other contemporary artists. Included are most of the publications from presses such as Golden Cockerel, Ashendene, Gregynog, Limited Editions Club, Nonesuch, Allen, Whittington, Pennyroyal, Tern, and Cheloniidae, among others.
